Join a Group!
Try one group; try them all. Grow relationship = “These are my people!”
Biweekly Fellowship Circles and weekly Beloved Community Wednesdays are among the small group ministries that build centers of trust and friendship by sharing and listening to each other ponder a wide range of topics.
Our Committees and Hospitality Teams also offer the opportunity to develop deep bonds while doing the good work of the church. We hope you’ll find a home with one or more of these and/or the following groups.
Join us every fourth Monday at 7 p.m. in the UUFP Office building. During COVID onsite events cancellation, check HERE for our current online gathering details. We are a casual group of people who enjoy exchanging books and sharing about the books that we have read. All are welcome, whether or not you have read the chosen book.
Women's DrUUm Circle
The Women’s Drum Circle meets the fourth Saturday of the month, at 7:00 p.m., in UUFP Sanctuary building. During COVID onsite events cancellation, check HERE for our current online gathering details. Women and their children are welcome. Please feel free to invite other drum-minded women to share in the fun and the power of this event.
Bring your drums and a small dish to share, if you feel so inclined. (Food allergen labels are available at the church.) Fellow members of the group will have extra drums so don't feel as though you have to bring a drum to participate.
Our potluck feast and women's sharing begins at 7:00 p.m. with drumming for healing and empowerment to follow. Please let us know at least a week in advance if you need childcare arranged.
Contact: firstname.lastname@example.org. Join us on Facebook at UUFP Women's Drum Circle.
Second Sunday Lunch
Sponsored by the Membership Committee, Second Sunday meets at a different restaurant each month at 1:00 p.m. Announcements and other UUFP publications will help keep you posted on each’s month’s restaurant location and/or if the event is temporarily suspended due to COVID/other health restrictions. All (including members, friends and visitors) are welcome to join us for good food and conversation.
UUFP Soup Socials
From September through March, the Membership Committee sponsors soup socials on the third Sunday of every month (temporarily suspended due to COVID). All are welcome to stay after second service (in the Sanctuary Common Area) to enjoy homemade soups and fellowship.
If you are willing to cook a soup or bread for this event, or volunteer for set-up and clean-up, please sign up on the clipboard in the kitchen or via email. Go green and bring your own bowl and utensils to cut down on clean-up and waste.
UUFP Game Night
The Membership Committee sponsors a game night on the first Saturday of every month from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. in the UUFP Sanctuary building. During COVID onsite events cancellation, check HERE for our current online gathering details. This is a multi-generational event in which all are encouraged to partake. Bring your favorite games to share, a friend (if you’d like) as well as a snack. (Allergen labels are available at UUFP.) We can create space for both silly games as well as quieter strategy games to take place.
Knit for craft; knit for comfort; bonds eternal we do weave—

Writings are read/shared, inviting other participants to offer comments and encouragement. Group #2 meets every fourth Thursday, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m., in the UUFP Office building.
