2022 UUFP "MYSTERY" AUCTION
 October 29, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., in the UUFP Sanctuary building!
(Doors open at 5:30 p.m.!)

Something's brewing at our house! With a Halloween theme, our first auction in three years is certain to be a fun-filled (mysterious?!) event—especially since we're encouraging all to come in costume!

Actually, part of the "mystery" is that the items available for bidding will not be revealed until the evening of the event. So this means no pre-auction booklet and no sneak peeks.

There are four ways for you to participate:

  • Bring your ideas for items to auction. You can donate goods, services, and hosting events. There has been a wide variety of goods offered in past years including beautiful stained glass, custom knitted hats, and many more. We have had event offers such as paint nights, dinners, and boating excursions. Even tutoring, the ever-popular sermon topic, and the year-long reserved (by custom sign) parking spot near the front door have been coveted offers! Your ideas make this event a success!
  • Attend this evening event! Register here for tickets: $10 for adults, which includes a meal. Wine and beer are available for purchase, as well. Childcare is available for $5, which includes pizza and activitiesWith Halloween just around the corner, feel free to come in costume!
  • Bid on the offerings! Our famous auctioneer teammates, led by Mason and Patricia Moseley, will begin the bidding and tabulation soon after the presentations of the offers, and we’ll be off to a fun, friendly and fundraising event! There will also be a silent auction room for items, e.g., art, jewelry, prepared food items, event tickets, etc.
  • Volunteer to support this event. Our events are successful because of your dedication of time, talents and treasures! Tasks include things like decorating and setting up tables, fixing and serving the meal, and cleaning up afterwards—especially since the room needs to be ready for Sunday Service the following day.

So, “carve out” some time, and let’s get our boos a-brewing! Let’s support this important fundraiser that helps bolster UUFP's ability to live out its mission and vision!
