Enter, Rejoice, & Come In

Join in our celebratory welcome hymn as we begin our worship together.

Service Time and Location

Sunday worship begins at 11:00 a.m. in the main sanctuary, and lasts for about 60-90 minutes. Come 30 minutes early to enjoy coffee and snacks provided by the Hospitality Team and mingle with others in the Common Area.

You're also welcome to sit in the sanctuary 15 minutes before service and enjoy quiet music for contemplation.

Worship Style

While theologically liberal, our services are similar to what you might experience at a Methodist or Presbyterian church. We have a structured order of service that includes an introduction, three hymns, an offering, a sermon or homily, and personal sharing. Music is usually provided by a pianist or, on occasion, by our ChorUUs and UU Winds. We invite people to rise, as they are willing and able, for the singing.

In short, our services are fairly low-key. You might even see some members knitting during the service.

Parking

We have four handicapped parking spots located to the left side of the sanctuary building, and one reserved spot across from the main entrance for our service auction winner. Otherwise, you are welcome to park anywhere in the lot or along the road. Please be courteous to our neighbors and do not block any driveways or fire hydrants.

Accessibility

In addition to reserved parking for those with limited mobility, our building is wheelchair accessible. Open spaces are available in the sanctuary to accommodate wheelchairs. Our sanctuary is also equipped with a loop system for hearing aid users. Sitting in the center section towards the front offers the best reception. Our Zoom room for virtual attendees offers closed captioning for the hearing impaired, and we welcome service dogs for those who need them.

At potlucks, it is common for members to list the ingredients in their dishes to accommodate those with food sensitivities and allergies. If you require further accommodations or assistance, simply let us know.

Other Programming

On Sunday mornings, we also host a forum for adults from 9:30-10:30, as well as nursery services for infants and religious education (RE) classes for children and youth during the 11 a.m. service. Click the links to learn more.
