Neil will argue, using some original content, that the dominant "AI" or artificial intelligence concept of what "minds" are and how they work, is wrong. This includes other living creatures, not just humans, but distinguishes all living minds from computers and anything working off algorithms, computations, deterministic cause and effect, etc.
Neil has been attending the UUFP since 1992, a member for several years, and relates he has “a very complicated background.” “ I have only a BA in Anthropology and subsequent science and technology education but no higher degree and must consider myself an amateur philosopher and scientist with wide-ranging interests.”
