AARP guest speaker Myra Walton-Basnight will discuss cognitive function and healthy activities, which can be incorporated into our daily routines, to help support brain health throughout our life.

Myra Walton-Basnight is a retired Quality Assurance Specialist for NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia. During her career she volunteered for technical committees and learned speaking and communication skills that she continues to use in retirement.
As a state volunteer for AARP, Myra joined in the fall of 2016 as a member of the speaker’s bureau. She is interested in communicating with seniors about issues that affect quality of life. Today she will be leading us in a conversation about how to stay healthy as we age.
