Sunday Forum: “Poetry, Painting and Parenting”

Presented by Terry Cox-Joseph

A career in art and/or writing is highly gratifying and typically not well-paying. But there are plenty of adventures, misadventures and careening career deviations that make it worthwhile. Join guest speaker Terry Cox-Joseph for a visual tour of her career, along with some entertaining stories and a bit of arts and letters education.

Terry Cox-Joseph divides her time between writing and painting, and most often, the division is an inspiring overlap. She is President of the Poetry Society of Virginia and a former newspaper reporter. Terry’s children, pets and her home on the Deep Creek waterfront provide a constant resource for her writing and art. Terry was a member of UUFP for 20 years.
