Socrates Café*: “Will Humans as a Species ever be able to Work Together as a Whole to Achieve a Goal?”

Presented by April Kelsey
May 26, 2019

Join April Kelsey for an intriguing “Socratic-style” discussion as she leads us in examining what hinders humans from working together on a global scale and how we might make a difference in solving worldwide problems.

*Socrates Café are gatherings around the world where people from different backgrounds assemble to exchange thoughtful ideas and experiences while embracing the central theme of Socratizing; i.e., to find truth in our common quest for gaining a better understanding of human nature. Socratic methodology uses critical thinking, reasoning, and logic—a dialectal process that uncovers presuppositions, expands knowledge and is a springboard for problem resolution. Committed to making ours a more participatory and inclusive world, UUs welcome the opportunity to “Socratize”!
