Some time ago I wrote about running into God at Panera on Jefferson. Donna and I ran into Him/Her again, the other morning, at the home of another UUFP couple, over a lengthy breakfast. As one of our number was giving the rest of us an unprecedented look deep into his soul, I felt God's hand come to rest on my shoulder.
I realized, then, a possible essential difference between our faith and many others. It is that, while some people may go to church for the purpose of finding God there, we go to learn how to make God find us where we live.
