Three-part Series - February 4, 11 & 18, 2018
This year marks the 180th anniversary of Ralph Waldo Emerson's "Divinity School Address". In his remarks, Emerson gave credence to a "sentiment of virtue", which he imagines to reside in all human beings, and which acts as the "essence of all religion". In this three-part series, the Sunday Morning Forum will consider whether such a universal sentiment actually exists, and whether or not the status of its existence can have consequences for 21st Century Unitarian Universalists.
