Sunday Morning Forum eagerly welcomed Bob Smith back to the podium yesterday when he launched the first of a three-week discussion based on the Great Courses DVD series: "SCIENCE AND RELIGION" by Lawrence Principe. Shaping Western civilization and continuing to affect our daily lives, science and religion influence our pursuit of knowledge and truth. The case for Intelligent Design, based on Natural Theology, is being reexamined in U.S. classrooms. Bob led the class in a lively discussion demonstrating that these two critical forces presumed to continually clash actually have a common etiology.
