Rev. Andrew Millard with Joanne Dingus “Flowing as One” The Water Communion is one of Unitarian Universalism’s beloved seasonal rituals.  It was created at the 1980 UU Women and Religion Continental Convocation as a feminist affirmation of community, but over the years it became dominated by personal travelogs.  Today we hold the Water Communion to emphasize what it means to belong. For the first time since the pandemic, we’ll celebrate the Water Communion together!  Please bring a small amount of water from your home — from your kitchen sink is perfect.  During the service, we’ll pour the water into a common bowl, representing what each of us brings to the shared life of our congregation. What: We are pleased to offer multi-platform services, both in-person and on Zoom. Children’s RE and the Forum take place at 9:30am so that families can attend the service together.  Nursery care will be available throughout. For Zoom, you can begin connecting at 10:45 a.m. to check your computer set-up and for introductions, and the service itself will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. When: Every Sunday, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Where: 415 Youngs Mill Lane, Newport News, VA 23602 Zoom: https://uuma.zoom.us/j/920676087 Meeting ID: 920 676 087 One tap mobile: +1646-876-9923 Wish to see, read or listen to the sermons?
