Guest Speaker the Rev. Beth Cantrell (WUCC) with Joanne Dingus “A Brief Look at Spirituality in a Bipolar Life” Social supports are essential to a person’s health and stability. Our guest preacher, Beth Cantrell, will describe some of the highs and lows of her spiritual journey since the onset of bipolar disorder, wanting to help folks like her when times of alienation make abiding presence harder to discern. The Rev. Beth Cantrell recently served as pastor at Warwick United Church of Christ in Newport News. She now lives in High Point NC with her father and two cats, Little One and Prim. Beth will once again lead the Greater Winston–Salem Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day in December. What: We are pleased to offer multi-platform services, both in-person and on Zoom. Children’s RE and the Forum take place at 9:30am so that families can attend the service together. Nursery care will be available throughout. For Zoom, you can begin connecting at 10:45 a.m. to check your computer set-up and for introductions, and the service itself will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. When: Every Sunday, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Where: 415 Youngs Mill Lane, Newport News, VA 23602 Zoom: https://uuma.zoom.us/j/920676087 Meeting ID: 920 676 087 One tap mobile: +1646-876-9923 Wish to see, read or listen to the sermons?
