Summer Spruce-Up At the UUFP Saturday, July 22, 2023 We’re overdue for some sprucing-up around our grounds and need your help. “As we look for new spaces, it’s time to come together to care for our current home! All hands are welcome from the smallest to the mightiest. Taking care of our grounds and buildings is a responsibility for all…so let’s all pitch in to make our facilities welcoming for members, guests, and prospective buyers! We need a wide range of assistance: Trucks/trailers to haul organic materials to compost facilities Tarps, rakes, pruners, loppers  Experienced gardeners to guide weeding and pruning Power saws/chain saws for heavier growth and fallen branches New hands willing to learn Trimmers to clean up around the edges Indoor deep cleaning is also welcome Bakers/cooks to bring some snacks Bring your tools, hats, sun screen, and masks. If you are not available that day, we also have smaller individual jobs: Do you like getting your hands in the dirt? We need to clear overgrowth around the sanctuary and office building. Are you good with painting? The repaired soffit on the office need to be painted. Sanctuary building toilet replacement Office building kitchen floor replacement …and the list goes on.
