2023 Social Justice University The annual Social Justice University sponsored by the Hampton Roads Legislative Collaborative Table (LCT) will be held Sunday, October 1st at Coastal Virginia Unitarian Universalists (809 S Military Hwy, Virginia Beach, VA 23464) from 3-5pm. UUFP’s Justice Committee has been partnering with LCT for years, expanding it to the Peninsula. LCT’s six Social Justice legislative priorities for Virginia, which were chosen by consensus at a public gathering last spring, will be presented by subject matter experts, and fact sheets will be distributed. Every year members of UUFP meet with our local Virginia legislators to present these social justice priorities for the upcoming Virginia legislative session. To register go to bit.ly/SJU2023.
