Part I of this two-part forum involves exercises to increase our awareness of the socio-economic makeup of UU congregations. These activities will help illustrate that classism can be a form of exclusion, prejudice, discrimination, or an oppression that hurts people.

Part II will continue evaluating classist practices in light of UU values and principles and identify connections between classism and other oppressions.

Indeed, awareness is a first step to change!
